Preschoolers learn kindness and teamwork for Week of Respect

Our preschoolers learned the importance of kindness, teamwork, and celebrating our differences during Children’s Corner’s celebration of the Week of Respect, Oct. 5-9!

Through stories like “Spreading My Wings” and “Respectful Bot,” children learned how to be kind, helpful, and respectful to their friends and families. Students shared ideas about how to show respect and what makes others feel valued. 

Children also worked together on creative projects, including the Cookie Monster candy donation box, the “Our Patch of Respect” pumpkin mural, and the “Blooming with Respect” garden mural. These activities celebrated each child’s unique talents, creativity, and individuality while showing how we can come together to create something beautiful.
