Halloween at CCPK

Halloween
CCPK will celebrate Halloween on October 31.
If your family does not celebrate, an alternative activity will be made for students during the Halloween parade.
Please communicate your participation preferences with your child's teacher next week so arrangements can be made.
Please notify your child's teacher if your child will be absent for Halloween so we can excuse the absence.

Parade
- The parade will begin at 9:30 at each location. Parade routes will be sent next week. Your child must arrive in costume.
- Students may not bring weapons and will not be permitted to wear anything that covers their faces. If something is crucial to your Halloween costume for Trick-or-Treating at home, we suggest you keep it at home. Small items sometimes get misplaced or forgotten.
- Family and friends are welcome for the outside parade, but space in the classrooms is limited to 2 adults per student (younger siblings are always welcome).
- For all of the students' safety, do not pull students off the parade route/line or ask them to stop for pictures. Students MUST stay together with the class.
- Visitors MAY NOT follow students back to class after the parade. If you are staying for a party, you must wait until the entire parade is completed and the students are back in class, and then be signed in by the safety officer. ALL VISITORS SIGNING IN MUST HAVE ID.
Trunk or Treat!
- All families interested in attending the event must register here: my.cheddarup.com/c/trunk-or-treat-2025-7000. We have extended the dealine to register until Monday, 10/20
- The registration fee is $5.00 per family. Wristbands will be sent home in back packs on October 22.
We still need trunks! It doesn't have to be fancy to be special! Please consider signing up!
